ABOUT ME

Ride For Your Brand

Howdy stranger! My name is Kylie and I was born and raised in the heart of the old west and beneath the shadow of the Grand Teton near Jackson, Wyoming. Growing up in Jackson, I became an avid outdoors women and advocate for conservation efforts such as hunting and fishing, while embracing the cowboy culture and its values.

After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a double minor in Public Relations and Honors, I landed a job in Cheyenne as a Caseworker/Project Manager for U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming.  Now five years later, I find myself as a Field Representative for the Senator but located at the base of the Bighorn Mountains in Sheridan, Wyoming.

While in college, I interned for the Wyoming 4-H Foundation and the University of Wyoming Foundation, growing my networking and communication skills, and developing a passion for communication related efforts. I also became the Vice President/Marketer for the Cowboy Country Swing Club.

I am currently pursuing my master’s in public relations from Full Sail University and am actively developing my expertise in a multitude of public relations skills. These experiences will help equip me with the social, creative and organizational skills needed to promote conservation efforts in Wyoming.

I am passionate about public relations because I deeply enjoy fostering genuine connections and building mutually beneficial relationships with many different people and organizations. I am motivated by creating positive images, raising awareness for meaningful causes and helping organizations meet their public relations goals. Public relations is a flexible industry, allowing me to take the reins and adjust my own creative and strategic approach to match the values of the organization and help achieve their public relations goals.

Growing up on the western frontier blended my appreciation and passion for conservation and the western way of life. The cowboy code is a cornerstone of my lifestyle; I take pride in my work, try to live each day with courage and honesty, stay curious, always finish what I start, and ride for my own brand.

I am pursuing my master’s with those same principles guiding my motivation and intend to live and work by those same principles as I step into the world of public relations.
